Honoring Juneteenth Through Food
In honor of the release of Watermelon and Red Birds: A Cookbook for Juneteenth and Black Celebrations by author and culinarian Nicole A. Taylor, Beck&Call was invited by Black Southern Belle to cook three dishes from the book! The team chose Peanut Butter Whoopie Pies, Strawberry Lemonade, and Sour Cream Chive Cornbread. The recipes were a fun twist on classic flavors that we know and love.
